We recommend that you keep the wine in a cool, dark, damp place.

The ideal storage temperature is between 10 and 14 ° C. The temperature can vary slightly throughout the year. The important thing is that the wine has no brutal change in temperature.

Light is an enemy of wine, especially fluorescent neon. Keep your wines as much as possible away from the light.

Humidity in the air is important for the conservation of the wines from which the bottle is closed by a cork stopper. Indeed, in a dry environment, the cork can dry and thus allow a too important exchange of oxygen with the wine. This will have the effect of oxidize prematurely wine. It is recommended to keep the wine in an environment where the level of humidity stays between 70% and 90%.

How to keep your wine?

It is recommended that you keep your bottles of wine lying. Indeed, it is important that the cork is always in contact with the wine in order to prevent its drying, which would cause oxidation of the wine.

Humidity is very important, however too much humidity will probably damage your labels. If this arises, simply wrap your bottles in a plastic film.

It is best to store the dry white wines near the ground, then rose, then red and finally the sweet above.

If the original boxes are wooden and the humidity is correct, bottles may remain stored without danger. However the cartons shall communicate their particular taste.

How long to keep wine?

Each wine can be kept more or less long. The duration life depends on the following factors:

The origin of the wine

It is clear that sunshine rate differs from one place to the other on the globe or in the same country. This therefore influence the type and the maturity of the grapes that are found and so the type of wine available.

The type of grape

Some varietal grapes provide structured wines and tannic, others on the contrary produce flexible and light wines. A good wine to keep must present a sufficient material and structure.

Vinification

Harvest time and the way in which the wine is produced influence the type of product obtained.

The vintage

Each year, climate influences the quality of the grape offered by the vine. When the grape has been sufficiently exposed to the Sun, it is ripe and sweet. If it has hand watered by heavy rains, it will be waterlogged and yield a more acidic wine.

The material

Refers to material, structure or the frame of a wine to illustrate its components and in particular its tannins. A tannic wine will give the impression of a certain volume or a certain material in the mouth. The length in the mouth is also influenced by these tannins. Tannic wines are generally to keep longer than wines with less tannin.

Acidity

A good wine to keep requests a minimum rate of acidity.

The conditions of storage and conservation

Temperature, humidity, exposure to light or vibration... as well as variations of these parameters are all factors that will influence the evolution of your wines.
